Our stay started off a little rough due to water issues caused by the freeze in Texas, but the host handled everything incredibly well. Communication was quick, clear, and consistent, and they went above and beyond to help us troubleshoot and resolve the issue. We truly appreciated how attentive and proactive they were during the situation. Once everything was sorted, the place was amazing — peaceful, relaxing, and exactly what we needed. Overall, it turned into a great stay, and we’d absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

Although a funeral brought us here, this home became a place of peace during one of the hardest moments of our lives. It offered our family a quiet space to grieve, to be together, and to hold onto one another while creating gentle memories in the midst of sorrow. Every detail—from the décor to the scenery—felt intentional and comforting, providing everything we needed and more. It truly became a sanctuary, a home away from home when we needed it most. Brendan and Brandon were incredibly kind and compassionate hosts, always available and so thoughtful. We are deeply grateful for this space and would absolutely stay here again.

Our family had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Airbnb. From the start, the host was incredibly kind, responsive, and helpful, making us feel truly welcome. During an unexpected ice storm, their flexibility and understanding meant so much to us—they checked in, ensured our safety, and were extremely accommodating, which made a stressful situation feel manageable and reassuring. The house itself was amazing—cozy, clean, and beautifully maintained. It felt like a true home away from home and was the perfect place for our family to spend quality time together. The space was warm and inviting, especially during the storm, and allowed us to relax, connect, and enjoy being together. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and will absolutely be returning in the future. We highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a comfortable, family-friendly stay with an exceptional host.

The Farmhouse was perfect for our stay! Spacious, comfortable, and clean. It is so cutely decorated and set up nicely! So many thoughtful touches inside and outside! A treat basket was waiting upon arrival, full of fun snacks and candies. A coffee bar set up with various coffees, teas, and filtered water was well used each morning. A fully stocked kitchen allowed us to prep meals easily. Bed was super comfortable with extra pillows and blankets. Loved relaxing in the living room in the evenings, with plush sofas, electric fireplace, and a big screen tv. Having a washer and dryer available was nice as well. We were there during an unusually cold spell or would have loved to use the outside fire-pit, which the owners son had so thoughtfully gathered a wagon full of wood and kindling for us. Next time! Owner was a pleasure to work with during the entire reservation and help make our stay in the Kilgore area a wonderful time.

We were escaping the Dallas ice storm for our daughter’s 8th birthday. We really enjoyed this property and would come back again. The biggest perk is our kids got to enjoy the heated pool.

The Driftwood home was a wonderful escape to the quiet corner. The kitchen was exceptional, and was ready to meet any cooking activities you would have in mind. I would recommend this house for a couple looking for a quiet retreat to the countryside for some nice star gazing and book reading.

My husband and I had an amazing time at this cute little place! Very relaxing and private which was exactly what we were looking for. PLUS they had a blackstone which my husband loved!

I absolutely loved it here!! It was such a hidden gem just blocks from all of the Hill restaurants. The place was clean, cozy, and perfect for a few nights away. I would definitely stay here again!

My family stayed at Brendan’s place while visiting from out of town for my wedding. It was the perfect layout for them and Brendan was incredibly accommodating. I’d highly recommend Brendan’s place to anyone visiting Austin that wants to be centrally located in Austin by the Domain.

Great stay for our family! It was central to all we wanted to do: hiking, dining, access to the city. The house itself is great, wonderful yard space and the pool table was a hit. The neighborhood appeared very safe and we had no worries. We definitely would be happy to stay here again!
