Austin Lake Estates is a family-friendly neighborhood located on the banks of Lake Austin. It is a close-knit community with friendly people whose residents know and look out for each other. Although it has grown recently, along with the rest of the city, it retains its down-to-earth, community-oriented feel. The neighborhood is just 20 minutes from downtown Austin and is close to the shopping and dining of the Bee Caves area of West Austin. The neighborhood itself has many amenities related to the lake and outdoors with a nearby Metropolitan park and ample green spaces (Commons Ford Park). Beautiful lake or hill country views including the beautiful Commons Ford Park on the banks of Lake Austin with lake access and plenty of space for the kids to play. The lake park on Edgewater is reserved for resident members.

The two proper bedrooms with beds are private; however, bedroom 2 with the single pull out sofa bed is a pass through to the principal bedroom. While it has two doors that lock for privacy it is still a pass through for the principal bedroom. This is important to know if you are expecting privacy for this individual sleeper because whoever stays in the principal bedroom will need to walk through this space to enter and exit their bedroom.
